PROTECTION SPELLS

Protection against harmful spirits

If you find yourself being attacked or otherwise influenced by an otherworldly spirit or entity, you must seek protection. This is a three-stage process to rid yourself of the unwanted beings and protect yourself.

1. Protection

If you can, acquire one or more of the following gemstones:

1. Black Tourmaline

2. Agate

3. Bloodstone

4. Esmerald

5. Labradorite

6. Black Onyx

7. Peridot

8. Emerald

These are crystals that protect you from harmful spirits and psychic intrusion. Black Tourmaline may be the most effective, but any of them would work. If you can find orgonite containing one of these stones, that would be even more effective.

The next step will be to surround yourself with a shield of protective light. This comes from within, and you can conjure it up yourself through meditation.

Begin each day with sitting down in a quiet space for five minutes, visualising a bright bubble of light around you, reaching about an arm’s length away from your body. Make it any colour you feel comfortable with.

Repeat the following words: “I surround myself with a shield of protection. I am safe within my space.” Feel the light emanating from you, growing brighter with each deep breath. It is strong and controlled, vibrating at a high frequency. No evil spirit can penetrate this force field.

Finally, ask your spirit guides, guardian angels and the God and Goddess to protect you.

Cleansing Space

You will then need to cleanse the space where you sense the negative intrusion. If it follows you around, use these methods around your body.

Burn sage, sandalwood or frankincense. Sprinkle sea salt around the area. Repeat the following words:

“Any energy that doesn’t serve me, please leave now. You don’t belong here. I am sending you home. Thank you.”

Say these words, or variations of this nature, until you feel satisfied.

Charm a Protective Necklace Spell

Take the necklace and hold it in your power hand (the hand that you write with.) Vizualise a bright warm light around it. Now imagine a force field around you warding off evil. Say: "I call upon the universe, to make this my protective charm. When ever I where it, I shall endure no harm." Imagine the light soaking into the necklace, and then you're done!

The "Wash it Out" Banishing Spell

You will need:

• Creek stones
• An earthen bowl
• Water

The purpose of this ritual is to deflect negativity. Fill the bowl nearly full of creek stones, then fill the bowl with water. The chant used here is:

Bowl of reflection
Stones of protection
May the reason of my harm
Feel the power of this charm.
Sisters three come work for me
Bowl detect
Stones deflect
And water reflect
Peace and harmony now come to me.
As I will, so mote it be.

Change the water once a week and renew the chant. Throw the old water on your doorstep. The Sisters of the Wyrrd are incorporated here. The bowl stands for the first sister, she of the past; the stones for the present and second sister; the third action, that of reflection, is the sister of the future.

The Bottle Spell for Protection

Used to neutralize the power of those who intend to do you physical harm, or hurt your reputation, or in any way pose a threat to your security.

You will need:

• 4 tbsp Frankincense or Myrrh
• 4 tbsp Black powdered Iron
• 4 tbsp Sea Salt
• 4 tbsp Orris-root Powder (or oak moss)
• 1 white candle
• 1 bottle with a cork or lid
• Mortar and pestle
• Parchment Paper
• Black Ink or black ballpoint pen
• Black thread

Mix the sea salt, orris-root powder, and the iron in a bowl. Then cut a piece of parchment to fit inside your bottle and write on it with black ink:

I neutralize the power of (name of adversary) to do me any harm.
I ask that this be correct and for the good of all.
So mote it be!

Roll up the parchment, tie it with a black thread to bind it, and place it in the bottle. Fill the bottle with the dry ingredients. Then take the white candle and while turning the bottle counterclockwise, drip the wax over the cork to seal it.

Last, secretly bury the bottle in a place where it will not be disturbed and no animals or people will dig it up.

This spell is like a genie in a bottle. It should never be unleashed or the power of the spell is lost.

 

Child Protection Spell

You need:

    A Green Candle
    A Black Candle
    A Protective oil

Start at New Moon and repeat for full cycle of the moon.

Anoint Candle. Light at the New Moon, and say:

'' As the Moon waxes, so shall this child's prower increase.
Keep him or her from harm''

Picture the child surrounded by a ring of light. The more loving energy you invest, the stronger the protection.

Continue everyday until the Full Moon. When the lunar tide turns, light a black candle saying:

'' As the Moon wanes, so shall danger dimish.
Keep this child from harm''

Visualize darkness fleeing from the ring of flaming light. Continue util the Moon is dark.

Repeat as necessary

Fire Protection Spell

Tools:

• One candle at each compass point
• Athame

Cast the circle.

Invoke the God and Goddess.

Say aloud this statement of intent:

"On this night, I invoke the powers of fire to protect me from all that would harm me, whether physically, mentally, emotionally or spiritually."

Start at the south. Light the candle, shouting: "Nothing from the South can harm me!"

Imagine the flame creating a wall of protection on that side of you.

Move West, light the candle, and shout:"Nothing from the West can harm me!"

Again, with each candle you light, imagine the wall around you growing in power and intensity

North, light the candle and shout:"Nothing from the North can harm me!" 

East, light the candle, shouting:"Nothing from the East can harm me!" 

Hold up the Southern candle to the sky, shouting: "Nothing from above can harm me!" 

Place it back on the earth, shouting:"Nothing from below can harm me!" 

Sit in the center of the circle, watching the candles burn. Know that the fires are burning away all evil and harm that comes your way.

Meditate on the flames and feel their power forming a shield around you - a shield you can erect anytime you feel threatened.

Have cakes and ale (eating bread and drinking wine or juice restores energies spent during ritual)

Release the circle.

Thank the Goddess and God for their protection and presence in your circle

Go to each of the four directions in turn, saying:

"Guardians of the East (South, West, North),
Powers of Air (Fire, Water, Earth),
I thank you for joining in my circle
And I ask for your blessing as you depart
May there be peace between us now and forever.
Blessed be."

House Protection Spell Bottle

Since the earliest spell bottles were created for protection, it seems fitting to begin with one made for this purpose. Ideally, such a bottle will be walled up in a new home under construction, or placed under the floorboards. If this is impossible, simply place it in a position of importance somewhere in the home.

Items needed:

1 glass jar with cork stopper or lid (a small canning jar is fine) 1/2 to 1 cup salt (depending on size of the jar) 3 cloves garlic 9 bay leaves 7 TBS dried basil 4 TBS dill seeds 1 TBS sage 1 TBS anise 1 TBS black pepper 1 TBS fennel 1 bowl

In the morning, ideally on a bright and sunny day, assemble all items.
Place the salt into the bowl and say:
Salt that protects, protect my home and all within it.
Add the cloves of garlic to the bowl and say:
Garlic that protects, protect my home and all within it. 
Crumble the bay leaves, place in the bowl and say:
Bay that protects, protect my home and all within it. 
Add the basil and say:
Basil that protects, protect my home and all within it. 
Add dill and say:
Dill that protects, protect my home and all within it. 
Add the sage and say:
Sage that protects, protect my home and all within it. 
Add the anise and say:
Anise that protects, protect my home and all within it. 
Add the pepper and say:
Pepper that protects, protect my home and all within it. 
Add the fennel and say:
Fennel that protects, protect my home and all within it.

Mix together the herbs and the salt with your hands. Through the movement of your hands and fingers, lend energy to the potent protective items. Visualize your home as a shining, safe, guarded, secure place of sanctuary. Pour the mixture into the jar. Seal tightly and place in your home with the following words:
Salt and herbs, nine times nine
Guard now this home of mine.
It is done.

Banishing an Unwanted Admirer

Cast this spell three days or nights in a row when the Moon is waning. If you can't get your hands on fresh vervain leaves, use the dried ones that should be available at a local herbalist. You'll need about a handful of either. The spell is best cast outside. If this is not possible, it can be done indoors, but as it involves a fire, it must be done with great care.

You will need:

• Vervain leaves
• A well-stoked fire.

Consecrate the wood or coal before lighting the fire. When it is burning fiercely, throw the vervain on to the flames, calling out the name of the person you want out of your life as loudly and with as much passion as you can muster. Follow the name with these words, which should also be said with passion:

I need you not.
I want you not.
Leave my life now
And come back never.
And it harm none, so be it.

Spend a minute or two visualizing the person's face in the fire's smoke and watch it waft away from you - forever.

Strega Herb Jar 
Designed for protection of you and your home.

PREPARATION:
Gather the following fresh herbs, they may be crushed or left whole:

• Rosemary-protection, healing
• Pennyroyal-protection, peace, strength
• Thyme-purification, healing
• Fennel-protection, purification-Diana, Dianus
• Marigold-protection, clairvoyance
• Curry-protection
• Rose-protection, healing
• Apple-healing-Diana, Tana
• Violet-protection, healing
• Sage-protection, wisdom
• Basil-protection
• Woodruff-protection, victory, prosperity

RITUAL:
Place a small amount of each herb into a green glass jar with a cork. You may add a special stone if desired. Ask the Goddess and Gods for their attention and blessing. Use whatever words or actions are appropriate for you. Shake well and set in your kitchen window (or in a window of any room where you have a lot of traffic). This specific Strega Jar is designed for protection of you and your home. From time to time, shake the jar and smell the aroma on the cork to remind you that you are protected.

The Witch's Bottle
Protection Against Enemies

It is possible for the nicest person the have enemies. Some people may be jealous of you; misunderstand you; just dislike the way you do your hair! Many people have said, "I don't need protection. I don't have any enemies." But there are the above-type "enemies" that you wouldn't even know about. They may well be as sweet as pie to you, to your face, but be bitterly jealous, or whatever it may be, behind your back. How do you protect yourself against their negativity? How to you protect yourself against a warped individual who decides to work magick against you? You don't want to hurt them, but you certainly want to protect yourself.

The best way to deal with this is a "Witch's Bottle". This is an ancient defense, known throughout folklore. It is made on an individual basis. The idea is to protect yourself and at the same time, send back whatever is being sent at you. You should never be the originator of harm, nor seek revenge, but you can protect yourself.

To make a Witch's Bottle, take a regular jar such as a 6 oz instant-coffee jar. Half fill it with sharp objects such as broken glass, old razor blades, rusty nails and screws, pins, needles, etc. When the jar is half-filled with these objects, urinate in it to fill it. If a woman is preparing her bottle, she might also want to get some menstrual blood into it. Now put the top on the jar and seal it with tape. It should then be buried in the ground, at least twelve inches deep, in an isolated spot where it can remain undisturbed. If you live in a city, then it will be worth a trip out of town to find some remote spot to bury it.

So long as the bottle remains buried and unbroken, it will protect you from any evil directed against you. This applies whether the evil is directed by an individual or a group of people. Not only will it protect you, but it will reflect back that evil on the sender(s). So the more he/she tries to harm you, the more he/she will be harmed her/himself.

Such a bottle should last almost indefinitely, but to be on the safe side, I'd recommend redoing the ritual one a year. With the present rate of housing development you never know when your bottle may be dug up or inadvertently smashed.

Wolf Protection Spell

Suggested Supplies:

• 2 green candles
• 1 white candle
• Picture of a wolf/wolves
• Essential oil
• Consecrated salt and water
• Lunar drink (i.e. wine, milk, ale, etc)
• Cakes

The candles are used to focus your energy.

Chant the following: 

"Candles three, green and white,
Bring protection here this night.
The Moon is full, the sky is clear,
Misfortune and evil disappear.
The mighty wolf shall ever reign,
and be protected from harm and bane.
Come hither! Come hither!
Spirits of the Wolf, strong and great!
Be guarded by this circle and throughout your life."

Moon Protection for Amulets
Amulet Protection Spell

Place a jewel, that you regularly carry on you, in a cup of spring water a day before the full moon. The following day, on the evening of the full moon, stir the water three times with your finger in a clockwise motion. Take the cup in your hands and move the cup in a clockwise, circular, stirring motion three times. Then, repeat these words aloud:

Oh Light of the Moon,
Wrap me
Protect Me
Keep me from harm.

Raise the cup towards the sky and drink the water. Remove the jewel from the cup. You must carry it on your person till the next full moon in order to ensure your protection. Repeat this ritual every month to benefit from its influence.

Spell to Protect an Object

Trace a pentagram over the object that you wish to protect while saying:

With this pentagram
Protection I lay
To guard this object
Both night and day
And for him who should no touch
May his body shiver and quake
I now invoke the law of three
This is my will, so mote it be!

Spell to Rid yourself of Psychic Attacks
Spell to Ward off Psychic Vampires

USE CARE WHEN DOING THIS

This is a fairly straight forward spell to rid yourself of psychic vampires (you'll know if you've got one, trust me!)

You will need on your altar :

• 2 white candles
• Sea salt in warm water in a cauldron or bowl
• Incense (frankincense or myrrh are good)
• Your favorite oil.

Place the candles at the back of the altar, one on the right to represent the God, one on the left for the Goddess. Place the salt water in the centre, and the incense at the front.

Anoint each item with the oil and say :

I ward off negativity in my home, work and everyday life.
No evil or negativity shall enter here.

Picture a white light around you and as it increases to full intensity, picture it surrounding your home and work place Now say :
Psychic vampires in the night
Psychic vampires who destroy my life
Destroy no more of what i achieve
Destroy no more of what i receive
Negativity is not welcome
Evil is not welcome
In me, around me or the people I love.

Repeat this 3 times, then allow the incense and candles to burn themselves out.

Anti-Stalker Spell

This is a very simple spell that is bound to get rid of any stalker, anyone who causes harassment, or someone who is simply being a pain in the ass.

All you need is a picture of that person. If that's not available then anything that belongs to him/her. Or you can even choose a place where he spends most of his time, like his chair, couch or even the door of his house. For the sake of reference we will call the door, the picture or whatever is chosen, the "dummy".

Summon all your hate
All your anger,
All of your emotions!
Let all that has been bothering you as a result of this person be replayed in your mind!
Then just SPIT!!! on the "dummy".

Bad luck is sure to visit this person shortly and will occupy his mind in such a way that he will no longer be a bother to you.

I repeat!! REMEMBER the warning!!

The curses like these are very easy to cast. They have an instant effect. If the curses are misused, they will backfire!

Whatever you send out, you get back. And you get it back times three!

Blue Pentacle Visualization
The "Go Away!" Spell
For Getting Rid of Annoying or Abusive People

This is a nice little spell to get rid of people who are bothering you or are in your face.

When the person comes near you just visualize a blazing blue pentacle on his/her forehead. Next, (mentally) say these words:

"I banish you in the name of the positive powers of the universe!"

This little spell works very well, and it harms no one. It just keeps them away from you. It even works on intoxicated people and people on drugs, as well as people who have bad intentions towards you.

(Some people visualize blue flames coming out of the pentacle a little way. This also does not harm anyone). You don't even have to think that you banish them. Just visualize the blue pentacle, with our without blue flames coming out a little way).

Anti-Slander Spell
Protection from Torment and Slander

Time: Waning moon or Dark of the Moon.

You will need:

• A dark altar or an image of Hecate
• Two Candles - One black, One blue or white
• An instrument to inscribe the candle
• Juice from the Dieffenbachia Plant
• Spider Webs
• Pen and Paper
• Purifying or Calming Incense

Use a dark altar, or an image of Hecate, Avenging Goddess, on your altar. Place two candles on either side of the image. You will need a black candle, juice from a dieffenbachia plant (which numbs and paralyzes the tongue if you get it in your mouth, so don't; you won't need much of it), and spider webs. Inscribe the black candle with your enemy's name. Make your circle. Say the following invocation:

Lady of Darkness,
Dark Isis of spells
Hecate, avenging Mother
Hear us and help us.

Roll the black candle in the juice of the diffenbachia to stop the enemy from speaking evil about you or your loved ones. Say:

Let the tongue of (name) be numb
and powerless to speak the evil,
To speak the untrue.
Let his/her voice fail and throat close
On the harmful words,
By the power of the Dark Lady.

Then roll the candle in spider webs. Say:

May (name) be caught and bound by the webs of his/her own deceit.

Then write the person's name on a piece of paper.
Light the candle and say:

Here is (name), alone and helpless.
(Name), you are friendless.
Emptiness and failure close around you.
Your plans are as nothing.
Frustration is yours.
Trouble, doubt and fear are at your side.
Soon you will cease tormenting me (or name of person you're
protecting).

Burn the paper in the flame of the black candle. Take it and the remnants of the candle after dark and sprinkle it before the residence of your  enemy, or where the enemy is certain to walk. Light a blue or white candle and burn calming or purifying incense for peace.
